Shipping within the Continental U.S.: Shipping is free for Plum Print books. For all other products, including flash drives, note cards, poufs, posters, throw pillows, calendars, and shower curtains, shipping is an additional charge. If you’d like your materials returned, there is an additional charge. 

Shipping outside of the Continental U.S.: Shipping is NOT included for customers outside of the Continental United States. In addition, our prepaid shipping kits are not available for international customers or customers living in Hawaii or Alaska. Customers outside of the Continental U.S. should send their materials directly to Plum Print Offices: 45 South French Broad Avenue, Suite 100, Asheville, N.C., 28801. Extra shipping fees are applied to all products, including books, being sent to locations outside of the Continental U.S.. The fee for materials to be returned to an area outside of the Continental U.S. (if the customer elects to have it returned) is determined after the materials are in Plum Print’s possession.

Incorrect Addresses: Addresses that are entered incorrectly upon ordering may be returned by FedEx and charged $13 per package. Any FedEx charges will be passed along to the customer on the final invoice.

Sending us your materials: After placing your deposit, we send you a shipping box, with a prepaid shipping label. We ask that you drop the box, with the prepaid label attached, at your local FedEx location, which now includes any Walgreens location. If you opt to call FedEx to schedule a pick-up, a $5.99 charge will be added to your final invoice. 


Plum Print does not accept any returns of final products, except in the case of defective or damaged items. Plum Print will replace defective products, including damaged shipping kits. We require photographs of the defect or damage, within 30 days of original delivery, in order to confirm defect and to improve our internal processes.

Plum Print will not replace shipping kits that were confirmed delivered to the correct address. If your shipping kit is misplaced or accidentally discarded (whether by your household or building staff), please contacts us at [email protected] and we will send a new kit for a flat $20 fee.

Customers wishing to cancel an order after they’ve received a shipping kit, (before artwork has been sent back to Plum Print) will be refunded a portion of their deposit price, up to $19.99, less if a discount code was applied. If the shipping kit has been returned with materials, but has not been digitized, none of the original deposit cost will be refunded and the customer will be charged $19.99 to have the original materials returned. If a customer's materials have been digitized, but no products have been printed when an order is cancelled, the customer will be responsible for remitting payment equal to the cost of Plum Print's "digitizing-only" option.
